Horizontal form fill and seal bags or flowpacks are among the most common types of packaging. The individual and modular design of the format flexible FUJI form fill and seal machines offers solutions for almost every application.
The form fill and seal machine consists of 3 modules
- Infeed (chain or belt)
- Center seal unit (top, bottom, side or 4 sides)
- End seal unit (box motion or rotating)
The model differentiation is based on the center sealing. Below, film feeding from the top, the most common version of flowpack machines for a wide range of products in all markets, is shown.

End sealing unit:
Rotating end sealing jaws with knife & anvil
- Simple, robust and open design with good accessibility
- Easy access for maintenance purposes from the front of the machine
- The discharge conveyor can be removed in just a few steps for easy access to the entire end-sealing unit
- Rotating brush for safe discharge of the package

End sealing unit:
Box motion end sealing jaws combined with soft plunging and long sealing time for hermetically sealed packages or processing of demanding packaging materials.
